A beautiful necklace by the talented jeweler John Hasseler. Hand made out of 2 lemon-quartz stones in the shapes of a square and a pear (teardrop)-  set in sterling silver settings- on a sterling silver cable chain.

Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, John Hasseler studied art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and earned an Associates Degree in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute in 1982.Since then, he has held the position as Master Goldsmith for retail jewelers in Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Minnesota, and a gallery artist in Hawaii and Minnesota."

Lemon quartz is a type of quartz, a semi-precious stone that comes in many colors and varieties. It is mainly characterized by its unique yellowish-green hue which ranges from light lemony shades to deep golden hues. The coloring of lemon quartz results from the presence of mineral traces like iron oxides or hydrocarbons within the crystal structure.
