A very stunning AMAZONITE & DIAMOND RING hand-crafted by the extremely talented local Jeweler John Hasseler. Hand made out of sterling silver, 14K rose gold, a square amazonite stone with 4 diamonds ( .20ct) on each corner.

JOHN HASSELER: "Having no two pieces exactly alike, John’s unique designs offer the wearer a way to express themselves as individuals in a mass produced world. Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, John Hasseler studied art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and earned an Associates Degree in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute in 1982. Since then, he has held the position as Master Goldsmith for retail jewelers in Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Minnesota, and a gallery artist in Hawaii and Minnesota."

Amazonite, also known as "Amazon stone," is a semi opaque blue-green variety of microcline feldspar. Amazonite is a mineral of limited occurrence and is present in parts of Brazil, Colorado and Virginia in the United States, Australia and Madagascar. Amazonite is an attractive blue green variety of microcline whose colour comes from trace amounts of lead.  The more lead that's present the deeper the colour.
