A beautiful handcrafted pair of Sterling Silver- QUARTZ & PEARL EARRINGS done by the amazing local Jeweler John Hasseler. Hand made out of Sterling Silver with quartz tongue shapped stones and each with a pearl on the top of earrings.

JOHN HASSELER: "Having no two pieces exactly alike, John’s unique designs offer the wearer a way to express themselves as individuals in a mass produced world. Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, John Hasseler studied art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and earned an Associates Degree in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute in 1982.Since then, he has held the position as Master Goldsmith for retail jewelers in Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Minnesota, and a gallery artist in Hawaii and Minnesota."

Quartz: is one of the most common minerals found in the Earth's crust. If pure, quartz forms colorless, transparent and very hard crystals with a glass-like luster. A significant component of many igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, this natural form of silicon dioxide is found in an impressive range of varieties and colors. Pearls are organic, natural products of sea creatures such as oysters, clams and mussels. These creatures are widely known as mollusques and are characterized by a soft body protected by calcareous shells. Pearls are formed when an irritant penetrates a mollusk's shell, the mollusk defends itself by producing layers of nacre around this irritant. The nacre, which is also called the mother of pearl, is the outer coating of the pearls and consists of many mineralized tissues overlapping.
