PROCESS: Each piece is designed and created by artist Joel Gonnerman. The carefully calculated segments of this vase were individually cut and glued perfectly together. It was then placed onto a lathe, turned into the vessel shape and hollowed to precise wall thickness. A smooth and flawless finish brightens the natural and mathematical beauty of the vase.

Joel is a young entrepreneur at the age of 20, Joel's artistic nature and eye for beautiful woods makes his hand crafted, one of a kind wood turnings truly a work of art.  Because Joel is also very "math-brained", he doesn't use any patterns, taking pride in creating and calculating all his own original designs.
