Australian Boulder Opal Pendant

Koroit boulder Opal from the Queensland, Australia. Set in sterling silver that has been oxidized. Opalescence is primarily green with occasional red glimmer. The prongs extend through the plate and can be seen on the back of piece where they have been soldered. Jeweler’s epoxy has been used in addition to the prongs to secure the Opal to the setting.
