The cabachon is Blue Sonoran Turquoise. This turquoise is from the Sonoran region of Mexico. Sterling silver setting. The prongs around the cabachon extend through the plate with the soldering of the prongs exposed on the back of the piece. Jeweler’s epoxy has been used in addition to the prongs to secure the turquoise to the plate
