A stunning ROSE QUARTZ RING handcrafted by the amazing local Jeweler John Hasseler. Made by hand perfectly out of Sterling Silver with a beautiful light-colored rose quartz stone framed in 14K rose gold with a diamond (.04CT) on both sides.

JOHN HASSELER: "Having no two pieces exactly alike, John’s unique designs offer the wearer a way to express themselves as individuals in a mass produced world. Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, John Hasseler studied art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and earned an Associates Degree in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute in 1982.Since then, he has held the position as Master Goldsmith for retail jewelers in Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Minnesota, and a gallery artist in Hawaii and Minnesota."

Rose quartz is a translucent variety of the mineral quartz. Pink is one of the less common colors in which quartz occurs. Individual crystals of rose quartz have never been found.  The mineral crystallises instead in masses. In this crystal habit crystals grow as one large shapeless mass with no visible external shape or form. This is unusual for quartz because most varieties exhibit well formed crystals. There is a pink coloured quartz that does form individual crystals. It's generally believed pink quartz is a variety in its own right. As well as being very rare, it forms in a different geological environment to rose quartz.  Its color is believed to be caused by impurities of aluminium and phosphorus.  It's also extremely sensitive to light. Rose Quartz is a pink form of quartz. It is also known as Hyaline Quartz. It has a pale pink coloring and a translucent transparency and a vitreous luster. It also has a hexagonal crystal system and is in the mineral class of quartz.
